These Two Need Names

I’m continuing to work on some animation ideas. I’ve been working on these two cuties lately. They need names. I like the name “Mr. Grumbles,” which appeared in a recent NY Times article with several quotes from one Benjamin H. Grumbles at the EPA. I don’t think either of these guys feel like a Mr. Grumbles, though. Check out the new placeholder on the animation page and let me know if you have any name ideas.

I heard your girlfriend Rachel was really the one who liked the name “Mr. Grumbles.” I mean, sure, it was you who pointed the name out to her in the first place. But I believe it was she who felt the name would be perfect for one of your many new characters, be they made of felt, the pant-leg of an old pair of jeans that someone gave to her, or clay. It’s fine if you want to leave her out of it, but just remember, if she didn’t want to buy the clay, these two cuties might never have been made. She’s also pissed about your ignoring her clay creation. She thinks maybe Mr. Grumbles would be a very fitting name for him.

It’s true. Rachel is the queen of clay and puppets. A “Mr. Grumbles” will surely come to be. I’m not sure that Rachel’s clay character in question is suitable for all audiences.
